Serena BRAMUCCI
She loves movies like Antonia's Line, Dolores Claiborne, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.. Therefore, movies leant to stark everyday realism. But she is still capable of being fascinated by the great science fiction (Blade Runner), by a great thriller (The Usual Suspects) and by a good chorus movie (Crash). For obvious reasons, she prefers a movie or a TV series in its original language, and enjoys making subtitles in Italian for her favourite show, which she then mounts independently. Serena is “happily obsessive” believing that everyone today needs a pathology to cling to in his work (but not only). Perhaps inspired by Kirkegaard, she tries to build a roadmap towards what she likes to do, while hoping not to stumble in the impasse due to the choice of the “possibility”, to the range of options that life places before us. Serena is sociable, and prefers a beer with friends instead of a night in disco, or a game box instead of the next generation consoles. You might meet her on any social network or web chat, since the art of socializing 2.0 has no secrets for her. This assiduous habitual visit to the network, over the years, has allowed her not only to acquire some more “technological” knowledge, but also to meet many people different from her, who she also sees in the real world. In the future, Serena would like to be part of a television editorial, maybe as the author. For now, she is “contented” with doing some lessons of foreign languages and applying herself in studies and linguistics specialization.
Cristina CARLONI
Born and resident in Terni, she is 24 years old and is about to finish her university studies in Translation, at Sapienza University. She have never had any doubt that foreign languages would have always been part of her life. She loves to speak French and translate into English. She is also studying Spanish, not disdaining other languages. She loves to travel and whenever she can she “escape” to find out all there is “outside”. She does not like being just a tourist, so very often she pries into other cultures tring to learn as much as possible from their usages and costumes. Her other passions are dancing and children and just the union of these two interests led her to work with a famous international company of tourist villages as an animator. Her favourite city is Paris, where she spent last summer working at Disneyland. She loves going to the cinema: watching movies relaxes her, and she loves catapulting herself in that unreal world where everything in perfect. Of course her favourite movie genre is the romantic comedy. She loves dancing, especially Salsa with friends in some clubs. She spends Saturday nights with friends and her boyfriend around a table laden with good things to eat, with a game and many chats. At the top of her scale of values is clearly the family, followed by friends. The things that scares her the most are altitude and solitude. One of her characteristics is surely being stubborn, if she takes it into her head to do something no one can stop her. She considers life a great gift and loves it in every aspect, and for this reason she does not tolerate those who offend her and others' life. Violence is the very thing that makes her angry. She is a fierce promoter of the waste sorting and environment protection. In the future she dreams of a “dynamic” job that would enable her to speak the languages that she loves and maybe even to do some travels. She would also love to do movie translation. Her mission in life is to live day after day, taking advantage of opportunities that come her way. She does not know she will do in the future, but for the moment, however, she focuses on the study, always giving her best and looking to the future with positivity.
Erica FAGGIANI (Lingua Inglese)
Erica was born and lives in Rome, and is 21 years old. She studies Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at Sapienza University and has a real passion for the Orient, its traditions and its languages. In the near future, she would like to deepen her knowledge in the Eastern world, improving her Japanese and trinn to learn more about Asian culture. She has already made trips to China and Japan. She loves discovering new places, places where different languages are spoken and different cultures. She loves to read. Her favourite book is "Wuthering Heights" (Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë). Her dream is to become a professional literary translator.
Translators - French
Katia ANTONACCI
Katia is 23 years and has always been passionate about foreign languages and literature, especially French and German. Her thesis, entitled "Heinrich Heine between Germany and France" is its demonstration. Her desire to get closer to a different cultural reality brought her to perform several activities abroad, including a significant internship at the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels. “When she grows up” she would like to work as a translator for an international organization, or deal with the foreign press review for a newspaper. In her spare time she likes to read (among her favourite books there are “Waiting for Godot”, “One, No one and one hundred thousand”, “Gargantua and Pantagruel”), surfing the news sites on the web and watching a good movie. Instead of a night in disco she prefers a party with friends, instead of a gala dinner, a family barbecue, and instead of tennis match, a game of “Taboo” (she challenges you to beat her, but do not fool yourself)! Casted off clothes of modern dancer, she devotes hours to the organization of dance performances and magic for children, with whom she worked long, favoured by her ability to communicate and her creativity.
Yvonne OLIVIERI
The two main Yvonne’s particularities are the immense love for dogs and curiosity. Curiosity in particular. Whenever she can she jumps on a plane to discover new worlds. In this regard, noteworthy is her great passion for the States; infact her next summer trip will be a tour of California by car. Purple is her favorite color. You can find it everywhere: on her clothes, on the walls of her room, etc… She I terrified of loneliness (and lifts!) therefore she cannot do without her friends, whom she shares funny moments and laughs with. Surely she isn’t known for her diplomacy, but to be honest we remind her greatest gift: sincerity. She is cheery and optimistic, and she doesn’t give up when difficulties comes around. She hates injustices; she’s stubborn by nature and she always wants to have the last word. She loves movies and reading, why allow her to make room for imagination, among her favorite books there are "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, a book she read when she was a child which has touched her heart. Yvonne also is not sure what the professional future holds for her, but inside she knows that will be something important. Waiting for this fading future, Yvonne is studying to become a great translator. And we can testify that she's not lacking in strong points.

Gabriela Maria Paola MAZZITELLI
Often you say that a person’s favorite color is a mirror of his personality; whereas Gabriela’s favourite colors are purple, black and white, Gabriela is an authentic, transparent, romantic and deep girl, but at the same time a strong and combative one, with a bit of nostalgic vein. Instinctive and direct girl, at work she’s plodding and uncompromising; in confrontation with people she respects the different points of view and she treasures them; she can accept advices and constructive criticism, she knows how to listen and understand, but when she loses patience shows her fighting spirit. Among her passions: movies (movies, but also television series, in costume, Horror and Fantasy), sports (Rollerblading, sport that she practices since childhood also to vent the tension and to be outdoors and in company), music (rock, but also punk and gothic). She doesn’t know yet what will be her profession when she grows up, but she hopes that will make her satisfied with her life. She would like to become a Conference Interpreter. She knows this path is not easy, and she will find many obstacles, but she thinks that life is beautiful for this reason too, because its difficulties make you grow up. The important thing is to keep pursuing one's own goals, with determination.
Melania PULITANI
Melania is a cheerful, extroverted, sociable and dynamic girl, always very determined in pursuing the objectives she set. She defines herself a “curious observer”. She loves novelties, convinced that there is always something new to learn. Melania is loyal and patient by nature, she hates arrogance and pretending, and admires those people whose simplicity makes them special. She loves company and her “Roman evenings in Trastevere”. She has a passion for traveling and a weakness for Madrid in particular, the city where she lived for a period as an Erasmus student. Her interest in languages began when she was a child, when she translated English lyrics. Currently she studies and practises to become a translator. For her professional future, she dreams of continuing the journey begun so long ago just for fun, establishing and fulfiling herself in this field.
